About Silk
Silk is one of a kind. Set in Brighton and centering the needs of Queer people, she flies her pride flag proudly as the city’s only LGBTQ+ Specialist Wellbeing Centre. Through practices such as massage, yoga, acupuncture, cupping and sound baths, Silk holds her arms open to those in our community seeking wellbeing and rest. With specialist awareness of the health needs of the LGBTQ+ community, treatments and classes are delivered through a lens which is Queer, informed and empowering. Additional focus is given to the prevalence of trauma and disability within our community and we work to make our space as accessible as possible to those of us in most need of wellbeing support. As well as providing wellbeing support to the LGBTQ+ community, Silk also works to platform LGBTQ+ practitioners so that they can work in a space which celebrates their identity and provides them with support and a safe space to work. We are proud to be Silk.

Silk was formed by Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist Ana Bott after recognising the gap for LGBTQ+ inclusion and specialism within the wellbeing industry. You can read more about Ana’s work here.
